It was a busy start of the year for us at The London LAMDA Tutor as we welcomed new students coming on board and ran an online exam day in January.
LAMDA exams can award a total of 100 marks. A pass grade is anything over 50 marks, anything over 65 is a merit and anything over 80 is distinction.
We are delighted to report that 100% of our students taking their exam with us online passed their exam with Distinction!
We’re incredibly proud of each and every one of our students and these outstanding results reflect the dedication each of them has put into their LAMDA journey so far.
Aside from a qualification, we know that the experience of sharing their work in an exam gives our students important lifelong skills including:
- Self-ease and self-belief
- Perseverance and commitment
- Thinking imaginatively in the moment
- The ability to communicate with anyone or any audience in any situation
- The ability to interact effectively with all people
- The ability to work under pressure
It has been wonderful to see our students flourish in these areas as well as achieve excellence in their exam results. We were not surprised to see that our examiner described our students as presenting their work with energy and passion.
As lockdown restrictions ease over the next few months, we will continue to offer online exams for our students as well as provide guidance to those students who wish to take a face-to-face exam at a LAMDA Public Centre.
A huge thank you to our examiner Andrew for assessing our students and of course to our outstanding tutors who create a fun, nurturing environment in each and every one of their lessons. These results also reflect their dedication to their teaching and our rigorous selection process to work with the best LAMDA tutors.
