Earlier this year, we revealed that we were now officially one of LAMDA’s Online Assessment Centres meaning we are able to offer our students online examinations. We were delighted when LAMDA said that they were now able to assess students online. It’s been particularly important this year due to many face-to-face exams being cancelled due to lockdowns.
We ran our first exam day in October and we are thrilled to announce that all of our students passed their LAMDA exams.
LAMDA exams can award a total of 100 marks. A pass grade is anything over 50 marks, anything over 65 is a merit and anything over 80 is distinction.
Over 70% of our students passed with distinction with a further quarter getting merits. Not only that, our China-based student passed with 100/100, the first London LAMDA Tutor student to ever achieve the highest mark possible!
These incredible marks reflect the hard work each of our students have been putting into their LAMDA studies. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them!
Talking about the exam results, Sandeep, the parent of our student, Swara who passed with distinction, said:
I have just let Swara know [her exam results] and she nearly fell off the stairs in joy. She is very happy. Thanks a lot to you and Grace for keeping everything running with so much efficiency even during these uncertain times and also a big thank you to Emily for being a great teacher and guide to Swara. She is looking forward to her class tomorrow with Emily and having a small virtual celebration.
We’d also love to extend our thanks to LAMDA’s Examiners Caroline and Zoe for assessing our students’ work on the day and, of course, to our dedicated tutors for preparing our students with so much care and attention and teaching LAMDA to the highest standard.
