When the UK went into lockdown, The London LAMDA tutor embraced online lessons and has delivered hundreds of hours of teaching helping to keep children engaged and learning.
At the same time, LAMDA examinations also went into hibernation as students could only be evaluated face-to-face.
While there are many benefits to LAMDA tuition including confidence and improved public speaking, we recognise that pupils (and parents/guardians) are keen to take their exams and get their reward for all of their hard work.
We are delighted that we are now officially a Remote Online Assessment Centre, able to offer our students online examinations.
This is wonderful news for all of our students and also means our foreign-based students are now able to take their LAMDA exams with us. In fact, one of our China-based students will be sitting their exam in our first online exam day in October.
Those of you working remotely will know how important video presentation skills are and our tutors (all professional actors) have been sharing their knowledge of framing, three-point lighting and perfect speech delivery. These are skills that will be invaluable throughout students’ lives.
We’re so thrilled that our students will finally get a chance to put all of their hard work into practice and mark their progress via our online exam in October!
